Engineer in in Food Processing Industry from the Institute of Food Industry (IAAL), Lille (France) 

Béatrice Delpouve has been working since 1988 at the central level of the University of Lille 1 – Science and Technology (France), Engineering included, for the development of the European programs for Research and then for Higher Education in general. Then, she was the Managing Director of the International Relations office for 15 years and Director of the international development for 3 years. She is moved now to Ethiopia, appointed by the DAAD (Germany) as an International Expert / Managing Director of EiABC Institute of Addis Ababa University. 

In addition, since 1991, she has been participating to the pilot ECTS program and its extension.  She is participating to the creation and implementation of the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS), joint curricula and is involved to the comparison of the three cycles and study programs (European levels, TEMPUS, TUNING projects in Europe and in Africa, joint degree projects). She works with all continents, especially Europe, Africa and in Brazil and China as countries. She has participated to the design of the new Erasmus + charter and guidelines at the European level.

In Europe, She is being asked by the European Commission as “Bologna Expert” to help European institutions to implement the ECTS, the Diploma Supplement, joint degrees and European and International Projects. She participates actively in the actions allow the international mobility of the students, the recognition of degrees, by introducing the quality assurance.

In Africa, she has especially developed a cooperation approach leading to international projects such as Tuning-Harmonisation in Africa, Erasmus Mundus Master, Mundus-ACP (ACP I and II, Angle/DREAM, KITE, ElFahati), and Intra-ACP Nyerere Programs (AFIMEGQ 12-17) and ERMIT(13-18). She has been involved in different workshops organized by the African Union and European Union for the Higher Education Dialogue (2011-2013): Harmonisation of the curricula, teaching and learning with the learning outcomes, research enhancement, quality assurance.
